  • Distance Education Students - The staff of the Campus Health Center makes every attempt to provide medical services to our Distance Education students, up to the limits of the law, accepted medical practices, and professional ethics.  As a Distance Education student, you may access any and all of the materials available on the Campus Health Center's webpages.

  • Confidentiality: HIPAA, NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES - This Notice became effective on April 14, 2003 and applies to patients who are not enrolled as students and is posted in the Lobby of the Campus Health Center (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996). Students' privacy is also regulated under FERPA, the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act of 1974.
  • Summary of medical services for eligible students: No charge for Office Visit, General Exams, Ear Lavage, Peak Flow, and the following lab tests: Thin Prep PAP, CBC (Blood), Urine C&S, Throat Culture C&S, GC, Chlamydia, Urine HCG (Pregnancy), UA (Microscope), Strep, Hemoglobin, UA, & HCG. Rates are discounted for STD/HIV tests, TB (PPD), Flu Shots, Gardasil (for men & women), & Immunizations. HEP A, B, and AB shots for adults are offered at $10 per shot. Call 582-3965 for an appointment. Note that we charge for missed appointments. Unfortunately, we are NOT a retail pharmacy so we are unable to sell over-the-counter medications or devices and can ONLY refill prescriptions that were originally prescribed & dispensed at this clinic. The CHC carries a small selection of birth control pills; lubricated condoms are $0.10 each; and dental dams are $0.75 each.
     

The Campus Health Center (CHC) provides urgent, primary, and ancillary care (including occupational medicine), as well as referral services to students, faculty, staff, their dependents, and guests of the CSUMB community through a partnership with Doctors on Duty (DOD). The staff of medical professionals is dedicated to meeting patient needs and promoting wellness and independence. Although our primary focus is to serve CSUMB/CSU students, medical care is provided to the general public on a fee-for-service basis. Payment is the patient's responsibility.
 

Please call 831-582-4437 for information about providing classroom, club, and/or group presentations. We are also available to assist students with health-related reports, presentations, or projects. In order for us to better meet your deadlines, allow us at least a 2-week notice so that, if materials are needed, we have time to order and receive them.
