The CHC provides private, personalized care for women with an emphasis on prevention and self-responsibility that include contraceptive education, eating disorders, complete examination (no charge), PAP (no charge), colposcopy, and other lab tests (at no charge or discounted rates), as well as health counseling. Please refrain from sexual activity at least 72-hours prior to your PAP to ensure test accuracy.
Additionally, our clinicians provide care for sexually transmitted disease (STD), immunizations, testing for some contagious diseases, tuberculosis (TB) testing, confidential HIV testing, and health-related travel services. Ask us about the condoms we carry for sale. Please call 831-582-3965 to schedule an appointment or to get more information.
FOR BCP REFILLS & OTHER PRESCRIPTIONS:
PLEASE allow us at least a 48-HOURS notice for Birth Control Pills (BCP) or other refills for prescriptions originally filled at this clinic. You may call 831-582-3984 or 582-3966 and leave a message for your refills. Remember to clearly state your name, phone number, and Rx information. Unfortunately, we are NOT a retail pharmacy so we are unable to sell over-the-counter medications or devices (other than standard condoms) and can ONLY refill prescriptions that were originally prescribed at this clinic.
Please note that fees for service are due and payable at time of service. The CHC accepts cash, check, Money Order, Visa, Master card, Discover, American Express, and ATM/Debit cards. We can bill many PPO medical insurance carriers or, provide you with a statement that you may submit to your carrier for reimbursement.

We provide a wide range of health education and prevention services. For sexual harassment training/education contact the Human Resources department at 831-582-3334. (http://uhr.csumb.edu/eeo/index.html) For sexual assault education and/or prevention call us to schedule a program that meets your needs. You may also request sexual assault education from the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center (MRCC). Health Education and Wellness programs are also available through the Personal Growth and Counseling Center (PGCC), call 831-582-3969 and the Student Disability Resources (SDR), call 831-582-3672.
